The rebooted Mahindra XUV500 is an all-wheel drive (AWD) model with 18-inch rims. The 2018 model is certainly an eye-catcher, and the biggest change is the front grill which loses the vertical slats in favour of a mesh. The rear is more patterned than earlier. The interiors have also got a different look with ‘plusher’ seats. Take a closer look here:

4. The 155-hp mHawk diesel engine sounds harsh, and the suspension is typical SUV. The XUV drives smoothly in the plains as well as on mountain curves, and takes most bumps in its stride and remains stable even at high speeds. Image source: Zee Business

5. The centre console with its infinite number of buttons makes it complicated. Several buttons are duplication of what can be done on the touchscreen, which is also not easy to use. Image source: Zee Business

6. The XUV has been in the market for nearly 7 years and sells decent numbers each month. The price tag of Rs 17-22 lakh puts the new Mahindra car in contention with Jeep Compass, Tata Hexa and Toyota Innova. Image source: Zee Business
