Jet Airways today announced the launch of its daily non-stop service from Bengaluru to Amsterdam from October 29.
The A330 Airbus to Amsterdam is Jet Airways' first service to any European city from Bengaluru, the airline said.
The airline company already has two flights to Amsterdam from Mumbai and Delhi.

It departs here 2.30 in the morning and arrives at 8.45. It is going to be an Airbus A330 - A happy mix of both premier and economy seats." Explaining the intention behind the launch, Dube said there there was a demand from people of Bengaluru for direct connectivity to Europe.

Recalling the Netherlands' 400-year-old colonial connection with India, Stoelinga said, "Today again India is a powerful economy in the world. Netherlands is the fourth largest source of Foreign Direct Investment in India while India is the fifth largest source of FDI in the Netherlands." Stoelinga pointed out that his country is a good investment and tourist destination.
He said Tata Steel has set up its head office in Amsterdam outside India.
